Is 25MB the limit for all email providers?
It's the common ceiling for Gmail and Outlook. Some corporate mail servers set lower limits — if yours does, try the 10MB or 8MB compressor instead.
Why did my email bounce even though the file said 24MB?
Email attachments grow roughly 30% larger once base64-encoded for transport. WavyVid's 25MB target already accounts for typical provider limits, but very close-to-the-edge files can still occasionally bounce — sizing down to 20MB is a safer bet if that happens.
Can I compress multiple videos at once?
Not yet — WavyVid processes one file at a time in this browser tab, though you can run it again immediately for another file.
Does compressing hurt audio quality noticeably?
Audio gets its own reserved bitrate budget (128kbps by default) separate from video, so voice and dialogue stay clear even when the video bitrate is tight.
Why does Gmail auto-convert large attachments into a link?
Gmail swaps oversized attachments for a Google Drive link automatically once they cross its size threshold, which means the recipient has to click through instead of the video just being there — compressing first avoids that extra step entirely.
